California Survival School’s 16 hour WFA Complete certification course is geared toward adventurers who either work in or frequent the backcountry on extended trips and is designed to give students comprehensive, hands-on training covering key first aid concepts and skills for preventing and responding properly to medical emergencies in the outdoors.
The WFA Complete course consists of two 8-hour days of training in the wild outdoors to ensure an authentic in-field learning environment for absorbing these critical wilderness first-aid skills.
Students who successfully complete all course work and examinations will receive a NASAR (National Association of Search And Rescue) WFA Complete certification good for two years.

Prerequisites:
No previous first aid training is required. Students must be at least 16 years old to attend this course.
What Gear do I need to bring?
We ask that you come dressed to spend each course day outdoors and bring a lunch, water, as well as something to takes notes with if you wish. We’ll provide all the other things needed for your survival adventure! Classes take place outdoors regardless of weather conditions.
